Hand building pottery methods for middle and high schoolers.
Service Description
Students, ages 13-18, learn the basic hand building methods in clay- pinch, slab and coil as well as glazing techniques. Students will create vessels, dishes and sculptures. After taking this course, students are welcome to sign up for upper levels where they will add the pottery wheel to their skills. All supplies are covered in tuition. Tuition is due by the first Wednesday of each month. Classes are Wednesdays from 2:00- 3:30 PM beginning on September 3, 2025 and running through April 29, 2026. Fall Break is October 8, Thanksgiving Break November 26. Christmas Break December 12- January 6, 2026, and Spring Break is March 11. Students may not make up missed classes. Classes will be added in May 2025 should the instructor need to cancel for any reason.
