Service Description

Handicrafts, also known as applied arts, teaches students fine workmanship and various crafts. Students will learn how to create books and coil basketry as well as how to weave and felt amongst other crafts. These lessons are taught at a beginner's level in a group setting. Students are encouraged to continue perfecting their personal skills in these fine crafts by creating gifts for all occasions or pieces to sell at craft fairs. This class is suitable for middle through high school students. All supplies are covered in tuition. Tuition is due by the first Tuesday of each month. Classes are held on Wednesdays from 1:00 - 2:00 PM beginning on September 3, 2025 and run through April 29, 2026. Fall break is October 8, Thanksgiving Break November 26, Christmas Break December 10- January 6 and Spring Break is March 11. Students may not make up missed classes. Classes will be added in May 2026 should instructor need to cancel for any reason.
