In Studio Middle/High School Art Survey

Service Description

Fulfill the art elective requirements as a homeschooler or give your artistic students extra practice and training in various media, skill, technique and art appreciation. Students will work with a variety of medium, exploring both 2-D & 3-D concepts. The elements & principles of design will be covered. Students will create landscapes, still life, portraits and object drawings using pastels, various paint media, pencils, ink and sculpture. Students will also create a variety of applied art projects from ceramics to basketry and beyond. This is a great class for the newly interested student's introduction to art as well as the student who loves art and wants to grow stronger. All instruction, tools and media are covered in the monthly tuition. Classes meet on Thursdays from 1:00 - 2:30 PM and begin on September 4, 2025, running through April 30, 2026. Fall Break is October 9, Thanksgiving Break November 27, Christmas Break December 12-January 7 and Spring Break March 12. Students may not make up missed classes. Classes will be added in May 2026 should instructor need to cancel for any reason.
